I have a long history of bad experiences with this hospital and the list keeps growing. The receptionists are terrible, rude. I came to visit my husband and my 14 yr old was with me. They would not allow her to visit or even sit alone in the lobby. After I came all the way over here and paid for parking. We had to turn around and go home. I'm not imagining it, the receptionists are on a power trip, they pick and choose who they gate keep, who they allow and who they don't, they yell at you about where you are standing in l... read more
To say this hospital should be shut down would be an understatement. If you are planning on having a surgery there, please don't. The recovery rooms are filthy and the recovery rooms are that filthy I can only imagine how the surgical room looks. We almost lost our father and if it wasn't for us who advocated and were on top of everything including telling the doctors(in training) what to do we probably would have lost him. Honestly, if you know whats good for you, don't come here. Yes, we are filing a report with the state.
Officer Webster was amazing Carmen PCT- Amazing, very kind, caring , supportive & went above and beyond when she didn't have to! Doctors- Residents amazing- actually listened to my input as a family member and thanked me for my contribution Nurses in Loyola Trauma 1 ED Emergency Department Katie- Very Kind, Sylvia- Outstanding, helped my mom get supplies, bathroom help, medicine she needed, monitored blood sugars & explained things kindly and thoroughly without judgement -
I am a patient right now in the Hospital. I was brought in by my Village Paramedics for possiblely suffering a possible Stroke.I went thru ER and then given a room in the ICU stroke and drama unit. They were very very good but when they moved me to a regular room what a difference. There nurses and staff in the regular part of the hospital are the bottom of the barrel they don’t get the quality anymore of employees. I will be leaving before they can get a proper diagnosis for if I wait I will be leaving in a pine box
Trash hospital, stay clear of using Loyola you will be here all day. When you do finally get a room you are ignored, treated like you are the inconvenience and treated with disrespect. As we are sitting in an emergency room as I'm writing this we've been waiting on a nurse to come check in we have hit the nurses button over 20 minutes ago. I've already stepped out the room and asked for assistance and was greeted with attitude. Loyola doesn't care for their patients. The majority of the staff in the ER are just hanging aroun... read more
