I am a fairly picky eater. I generally tend to lean on the less flavourful side vs too flavorful, or strong tasting, and I've tried a heck of alot of "specialty pizzas" and I can't say I've found any whereby I said "I gotta get this one again". That is until I purchased Lucia's Bacon Cheeseburger w/French Fry crust. When I read the description it sounded good, but I honestly didn't expect much. If it hadn't been on sale at my local grocery, I would have passed on buying it, not taking the chance I'd hear the words "when will... read more
Tried Artisan Lucia's "The Club" frozen pizza on a whim. There's nothing really right about this pizza. Crust is too heavy, and while toppings were generous, I was shocked (and that's not an exaggeration) at the amount of grease that came off this pizza. First I used three sheets of paper towel to sponge off the top (which was saturated when I was done). $14 for a 24 oz piece of garbage (which the box says is 5 meals) - I'm returning it to the grocer. The box touts "A Distinctly Different Pizza," it sure is, because it gives junk food a bad name. This was the CARIBBEAN Honey Garlic Crust - I've been to Puerto Rico (4x), Jamaica (3x), St Lucia, St Thomas, Grenada, St Vincent, Cayamans, St Martin, Dominican Republic, Ambergris Caye, and Antigua -- and NEVER had anything with the texture/flavor of bubble gum with pineapple chunks. It says to bake for 12-16 minutes, but I kep... read more
Worst frozen "pizza" I've ever tasted. The pizza was cooked to perfection and looked decent. My excitement was cooled off like a bucket of ice water in the middle of a hot shower after the first bite. Never will I buy another pizza from them. No sauce, disgusting crust, and even worse cheese. If I chould give them a negative score I would, as in this pizza is gag worthy.
Wow! Not only is their pizza awesome, their team is great too!! Theresa is a true professional and the manner that everyone conducts themselves there is simply amazing. A very good team and just some amazing pizza, as well!!!
