I cannot recommend purchasing a Lucid. While the vehicles can be aesthetically pleasing and deliver strong performance when operational, my experience suggests significant and frequent reliability issues. The warranty, in practice, may not cover many problems that appear to be manufacturer defects or design faults, leading to costly out-of-pocket repairs for the owner. During the Toronto Auto Show in February, we had the opportunity to go for a ride along. This spurred our interest in test driving a Lucid Gravity to replace our current vehicle when our lease is done. From the website, we scheduled our test drive.
