I am so grateful that I chose Luna Oakbrook. I encountered many unforeseen issues when we pulled up the carpet in my new condo, And I had to meet board requirements for soundproofing. I worked with Chuck Whelpley firstbin Schaumburg then in Oak Brook Terrace. Carpet was installed late July. I had carpet and vinyl flooring. Because the carpet was a higher grade, two different installers couldn't seam (best word I can think of). It seems I need a higher transition. Well the guys at Oak Brook say the warehouse is working on it. The warehouse says they need information from Chuck or Joe. In the meantime nothing is being done.

Great install but when we found a problem two days later, Luna was unwilling to come and fix it without charging us for an entire service visit. If we fix it ourselves or bring someone cheaper in, it will void the warranty (which should cover this). Since the warranty means nothing so you are better off going somewhere local instead.
I contracted with Luna Flooring to install hardwood in my living room and dining room. I already had hardwood in the rest of my home so I needed Luna to ensure they matched the existing hardwood. Luna Flooring is supposed to be experts in Flooring, so when I asked about the difference in the wood, they told me my existing hardwood had been exposed to the sun, so the color was different from the new hardwood. Long review but overall, not recommended. We went to the Oak Brook Terrace location and order our carpet with Joe Marzano, who ensured us our carpet would be precisely cut before delivery and ready for install. The measurement was done and Joe sent a quote of 789 square feet (SF) for our project. That seemed big but shame on me for not measuring myself too, I guess. I have been living a nightmare the last few weeks! I ordered carpeting and waterproof vinyl for my basement family room from LUNA. I was concerned about the height difference and asked the owner if this would be a good idea, or if I should stick to carpet. He said, no they do this all the time and that they put a transition between the two, everything will match beautifully, no problem. The floor people came & installed the floor and we thought, good.
