We made the absolute mistake of using Luna for a near $15,000.00 flooring job in our home. Every step of this process has been a NIGHTMARE. We went with Luna a SECOND time because aside from an installer trying to collect a balance despite me paying in full on the day of the sale, the salesperson and installation were great for the carpeting in our rental property, and that issue was resolved swiftly. Luna has the worse installers I have ever experienced. Our 15 year carpet looks better than the rooms we had done by Luna after only a few years. There are so many wrinkles it is embarrassing. When friends ask if we have recommendations for carpeting, we tell them anyone except Luna. They rush the install and do not stretch the carpeting. They use knee kicks, but do not stretch the overall room. Avoid Luna!
PLEASE DONT USE LUNA!! The floor looks fine but the experience was HORRIBLE!! The salesman told me it would only take two days to complete. The installers arrive Friday the 28th. They upset my wife out the gate by trying to tell her they weren’t going to start the installation until the following Monday. She called me while I was at work crying about how rude the installers were. I asked her to pass the phone to the installer so I could speak with him. I sent in a review on luna carpet in naperville on my horrible experience from 7/5/22 install date order number so they cant say i did not have a repair done. NV001343 a owner of company Ben Bush reached out to me offered me a 100 gift card for my troubles. did not handle the situation just stuck up for a employee and said their is nothing he could do to fix it and that his employees are to busy to follow up with every customer after work is done. im appalled by that i work for a company that strives on customer service i to... read more
This review is long, if you do not have time to read it, my advice is not to hire Luna/Empire (same owners). I was informed of this from the rude salesperson I had come out from Empire. Before even walking in my house, he asked if I am getting a quote from Luna and that it’s a waste of time because they are the same company. I am not going to put specific names in my review. The sales person that his name is Brian told us that because our good credit it will be 0%. And I'm checking my contract and no it's 4 years at 9.99% interest and o top of that my floor creeks everywhere. I been calling kuna costumer service for a 1 month and I haven't yet an answer or a solution to my problem. Do your self a favor and take your business somewhere else.
I never got floors before and with this experience I will never going to get floors with luna. When the sales person got to my house the first thing I said to Brian I don't know anything about floor but we want to get laminate and carpet. They put laminate floor and now the floor creeks a lot everywhere. I don't like that. I been calling costumer service for 3 weeks and see what they can do.
