I just canceled our service, after yet another instance of the technician showing up at our home... doing zero work (Ring cameras that surround the house prove this)... and claiming to have done a full service on our lawn. The first time this happened, 12-22-25, I filed a complaint. A manager visited our home on 1-26-26, and did a yard walk-thru (and was caught off guard when our Ring cameras announced that he was being recorded). Luv a Lawn is the absolute WORSE lawn company! Our ************** recently (6 months ago) had St Augustine grass laid. A $5,500 job between both homes. The new green grass looked like a golf course. After the professional recommended time, together we hired the same lawncare company to cuts both yards every Friday. Dishonest company! I have my service with them since April last year. I was guaranteed gorgeous lawn with no weed. Half a year later i Received dying grass with lots of weed and bare spots. Complained, was guaranteed AGAIN all weed will be gone n everything will be fixed. 3 months after, no change. Talked to the manager and was told "nobody could have guaranteed anything" plus that is everybody's fault other them - shade, landscaper, perhaps bad soil... I've been with ********** for over a year and they failed to provide the service and decided to charge me nonetheless. I explained this to them and although the office agreed to remove the charge for obvious reasons, it continues to harass me for the fraudulent charge. ********** reason is although they had no access to my house, they should charge me.
I signed a contract with the company about 7 months ago. I asked to add a note about the prior notice before each visit to my property, because I have 2 daughters who like to play in the backyard, and I wanted to be home for each service, an option that I seemed very interested. take your business to some other place, Luv-A-Lawn is only after your money, service will be timely but don't expect much of a result. After several visits my lawn still had weed and ants, the main two reasons why I called them in the first place. I am an 82 year old person on a fixed income and in March 2022, the technician who treats my lawn referred a lawn company to replace the sod on my front lawn. He told me Luv-A Lawn worked with this company and assured me the job would be done correctly. I paid $1500 to the referred company. The lawn care company removed my grass and they never returned to finish the job. My family called Luv-A-Lawn to complain about their referral and asked that they help me resolve the issue.
