Aubrey was my nurse in the ER and she had great bedside manner and a sense of humor, she deserves a raise! Dr Andersen was also awesome, kind and had a great ability to describe what was going on in a manner a child could understand. Everyone made my time there way less stressful and I appreciate it so so much.
My stay for my knee replacement was great. All my nurses were so good. They were very kind and helpful with whatever I needed. My food was even yummy. My only complaint is that there was no Diet Coke.
My family has had nothing but great experiences at Madison. Last winter we brought our son in for appendicitis. The staff and Dr's were quick and very kind knowing that he was in pain. He was diagnosed, operated on, and discharged within 3.5 hours. No complications or complaints since. We love our local hospital and the Dr's. Keep on doing a great job to help our community.
I have given birth 2 times at Madison now. My first experience was not great at all. My second time I was planning to do an all natural birth, but as soon as I said I felt I was ready to push I had nurses insisting they needed to check my cervix. I gave in because I was exhausted and very much annoyed. I eventually got the epidural because I lost control of my breathing and wasn’t being listened to. Ended up in the ER and they were so fast, kind and professional. I was absolutely blown away at how well I was taken care of. Everyone single person who came in my room was fantastic. From the nurses to the doctors to the techs. Eric (ultrasound tech) was great. Dr. Codd was great. Didn’t catch all my nurses names but I loved them. (I was in a lot of pain) And when I got my bill they worked with me and I was able to set up a payment plan that I could afford.
