I cannot say enough good things about the staff, facilities and care at Maeford Place. My friend has lived there for a couple of years now and she has always had exemplary care. Every staff member treats her as if she is their own family member, going above and beyond to ensure her needs are met. When I deal with the staff either in person or over the phone, it is always a pleasure. My mom has lived in Maeford over 5 years. I volunteer there and have had contact with management and staff, always a positive experience. The care and interaction provided is excellent. I'm thankful for such a wonderful place in Quesnel.
I am a retired Nurse Administrator and Coordinator of an extended care unit ,so my observations and interactions with staff and residents comes with a lifetime of knowledge in this field of care . I am so impressed with care given to the residents fortunate to live at Meaford Place . Loved how Maeford kept the residents safe during and after Covid and they still are. Always courteous and helpful. Building is pretty clean. And Maeford is doing a great job in taking care of Mum.
I think this a good place for my mom to be. She gets good care, the staff is very friendly, and they have lots of activities going on. The only thing I have a concern with is the food. It is preprepared and kind of tasteless. The Christmas dinner was excellent! I appreciate the efforts to control the spread of COVID in the facility. Carol and Mel
