friendly but not online Great place to stay. Quiet. The staff is wonderful. Breakfast is ample and coffee flows freely. Have been there twice and will be the only place I ever stay in Columbia. My wife left a drawer full of underwear and they called us before we got out of town. The rooms were clean and classic Microtel layout.

Friendly and affordable - and a secret This was a nice place when a Microtel. This is now an independently owned and operated facility. I had to find the number since google ranks it low in the search engine. They are working on it. Sharon the manager is a sweetheart. I do not know if I can do this but the phone is 601-424-4400. Small Town Hotel HUGE VALUE What a welcome find. Wonderful rooms, wonderful staff and breakfast to boot. We have stayed 3 times over the last 12 months and all have been for a week or longer, each time has been a pleasure. Quite, clean and comfortable.

Nice Surprise Hotel was easy to get to. Very clean. Rooms were small but very efficient. My room was near the elevator and was a little noisy, but not bad.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The walls, bedding, carpet, windows, coffee maker, bathroom, shower, and bathroom floors were the nastiest I have ever seen. I do not even want to think about when the last time the sheets were washed. The sheets could have been bleached, and sterlized in borax and they still would not have been clean. 100% Satisfaction Guarantee? Nope! Checked in - given uncleaned room. Clerk changed room. That night I was in bed (female alone) and some strange man came in my room with a key. A few mins. later another clerk came up and asked who I was as if I was not registered! I was unsettled by the idea of some stranger having access to room.
