Recently we had a new boiler/heater installed due to the failure of our 1996 unit. The main financial office was helpful and the installers did a tremendous job by not leaving us without heat for the night. I highly recommend Main-Care Energy
Last night we contacted “Main care” due to a gas leak from their tanks that was installed 2 Months ago end of April 2025. Never did (couldn’t of did) an inspection on gas lines or the tanks they installed on the outside of the home after we had done a complete conversion from oil to propane.( thankfully they didn’t do the inside) Mind you I have 3 young children in the home with the tanks right near the electrical box. Boo and Jeremy arrived right on time, installed tanks, which were filled immediately. They thought there may be a propane leak. They did full inspection and figured out the problem. Showed me how to turn off propane if necessary and how to check gauges. Very professional! Thank you!
This review is SPECIFICALLY about the process of purchasing a new 5-ton heat pump this past summer; it is NOT an overall reflection on our many decades w/ Main Care. All in all, the job went fairly poorly but in the end, we have a working system. There were an astounding number of communication issues between the various branches of MC. Our 20+ yr-old central AC was shot, & the service manager from the Catskill branch came out to quote a new system. We were told “his boys” would be out soon to take measurements.
