If you care about your loved one.You will NEVER let them go to this place! They ignore patient call lights for well over an hour. They have ZERO bedside manner. They even refuse to give patients their prescribed medication at discharge to take home with them. I've since been told by the homecare RN that this should NEVER happen! A patient should have all prescribed medication go home with them. There is very shady stuff going on at this place. Stay away from it. Please!

My father was a resident at Majestic Care of Flushing for 2 1/2 years. He passed there in September, 2024 from natural causes. His room was always clean and tidy. He was clean, dressed, groomed, and well-fed. Contacting personnel at the facility was always easy and they contacted us promptly when it was necessary. The staff seemed stretched thin during some of my visits but I understand this is common across the industry. Don’t even deserve a one star my husband brought his mother from that nursing home with Septic. Her wounds on her legs were so neglected from them, not doing wound care. It doesn’t look like she had a proper bathing and washing of the hair in wheat months. They released her without pain medication going from Michigan to Texas, which is inhumane to make a human go that far Without pain medication, knowing her situation. Not appropriate for the front desk lady to direct delivery drivers to residents/patients rooms. Nor is it appropriate to lock said delivery drivers in the facility because you're upset that even the delivery driver knew it was a HIPAA violation. At that point you were not breaking just 1 law but false imprisionment is a felony. Thank you HR for correcting your staff member. Proper training evaluations should be conducted. Knowledge is power not ignorance.
