My mom had terminal cancer, when we started looking for places I had many people tell me to stay away from Point Place Care & Rehab but this turned out to be where she landed. I am glad I didn't listen-the staff is AWESOME, they got to know us and my mom; they kept us updated; and helped my mom be as comfortable as she could be. The facility and mom's room were clean. Every healthcare facility is understaffed but ALL the people on mom's wing tried hard and provided great care. I thank them all for the care mom got.

While the frills of an Assisted Living facility are absent, in my experience the staff at the moment are amazing. They are proactive in the care of residents and act expediently to rectify situations. The floor staff goes above and beyond to meet the needs of residents with grace and dignity. The facility is kept very clean by its housekeeping staff and is always devoid of the smells one often associates with nursing facilities. My mom has lived here for the last 5 months and we are very happy here. The nurses are great about keeping me informed of what is going on. The other workers are sweet and treat her like family.

This place has character, heart and soul because of the staff that come day in and day out giving it their all. Being a nurse for nearly 30 years I have seen the many challenges that nursing staff and facilities face and The Point is by far the best place to entrust the care you loved one.

I was very impressed from the moment I walked in the door it is a very clean facility and I love the energy Emily the administrator is a very kind person thank you Emily and Stephanie in admissions for doing a great job !!
