I am giving 5 stars due to the help I’ve received from the new owner Dr. Lew. In the past I thought I was in good hands with Dr. Poupore but after having one tooth extracted by Dr. Lew due to a botched root canal from Dr. Poupore I’m beginning to think I was naive in my belief that he was a good dentist. I am now being treated for a second failed root canal done by Dr. Poupore. After all is said and done I will be $12,000 in debt to get two implants where the root canals failed. I had a very disappointing experience at this dental office. I arrived for a scheduled appointment to replace a crown, for which I had already provided all requested information, including recent X-rays. Despite this, I was kept waiting for over 20 minutes past my appointment time with no explanation or update. To make matters worse, there was a complete lack of communication between the front desk and the manager. I called and scheduled an appointment stressing that I have a tooth bothering me so bad I can barely eat and that is still the case, the soonest appointment was a two week wait. I just showed up for my appointment and my name was not in the system and turned me down for my dental appointment. The soonest they could reschedule me is 2-3 weeks out needless to say I will not be wasting any more off my time off from work to get turned away again.

Overall, I enjoy going here which is not something I would typically say about the dentist. However, the staff are always friendly and do their best to make sure I am comfortable. I have had a recent negative experience there however— I currently have an infection and was referred elsewhere for an extraction which can’t be done until May. Amoxicillin has not been helpful in calming things down for the time being.
