Dr. Bakhos repaired my mitral valve two years ago with open heart surgery. He is an excellent surgeon and caring. 5 stars. My heart works well thanks to him
I cannot imagine a more qualified surgeon and Dr. Bakhos. Three years ago he performed open heart surgery on me, age 64 at the time and replaced my aortic valve And bypassed a blocked LAD artery. Surgery was performed on a Monday evening and I went home on Friday with no issues. I highly recommend him for any type of cardio vascular surgical need as he seems to be qualified to do virtually any procedure.I also have to mention that the entire staff at Loyola Hospital was terrific.
Dr. Bakhos repaired my mitral valve rather than replacing it. My outcome has been excellent and I am able to pursue an active lifestyle which includes bicycling and roller-blading without any maintenance drugs or therapy. He is very caring and empathetic. I recommend him highly.
This is a outstanding surgeon as well as a great person. He care about his patients as if he's operating on his on family. Any cardiac procedure I would recommend anyone to Dr. Bakhos. After my surgery, my family informed me he came out and shared all information and answered any questions they had,mother lived him. Besides all of that he's one of the best surgeons there is, your in great hands with Dr. Mammoth Bakhos. His hands are a gift from God.
