I had an ultrasound at Solis Mammography after dealing with a swollen breast since July 1st, and unfortunately my experience left me feeling disappointed. As an 18-year-old attending my first doctor's appointment by myself, I was already nervous and hoping for a little guidance and reassurance. My appointment was for 9:30am, it is now 10:19am and am still waiting to be seen. There's 4 people working at the checkin/out counter but they are not helpful at all. I forgot to bring in the Dr's order paper for the dexascan but the check-in lady didn't attempt to find it in the computer and told me to go home and get the papers because without them they can't see me. I’m here today for a biopsy and want to share my experience with the front desk. I came in signed my name and then as I was waiting I asked the new joint lady if she could check to see if I had an appointment because usually they would have text me to check in. Now, I got my question asked by the young lady that was not busy her supervisor or the young lady that is always present proceeded to tell her not to answer people who did what I did cause they just have to wait. The atmosphere was extremely pleasant from the moment I checked in, during the screening (my technician was AWESOME), and when I left. Highly recommend.
The tech who did my exam today created a very uncomfortable experience for me. She was very condescending in her tone when gathering my info and she stood in the change room way too long for my liking while I was getting prepared. I couldn't get a good look at her staff ID because she moved around in and out of the room while she was talking.
