They cancelled my first appointment after I just made it. I can understand if it was for one made 6+ months ago, but 1 month? They can send me a text with a link for new patient data, but cannot send me a text to confirm the appointment that I just made with them? Heaven forbid someone goes on vacation for Thanksgiving and does not check their voicemails for a week or two. So much for using the latest technology... I will take my business elsewhere.
Dr. Makram is fantastic - amazing skill, great hygienists and assistants, awesome technology, and very professionally run office. So glad I found this practice after moving from the northeast.
My particular insurance covers 2 cleanings a year and bite wing x rays once a year. I was due for these x rays on my last visit and the woman who did my cleaning said were going to do your mouth x rays. I assumed this was the normal thing that gets done. Fast forward I see a 107 charge on my insurance and find out they were full mouth x rays and not my regular covered bite wings. I am a physician in Clearwater, Florida, I drove all the way to Naples to see Dr Makram who was referred to me by a friend. After consulting with different dentists in my area I decided to seek anther opinion from Dr Makram. His office staff and the doctor were very professional. I can’t recommend Dr. Makram highly enough. From the moment I walked into his office, I felt completely at ease thanks to his calm, patient, and attentive demeanor. He took the time to explain every step of the process, never rushed, and made sure I was comfortable and informed throughout my visit.
