We have had a contract with them for 20 years, but yesterday was the second time we had to use it. We came home last night from a few days away to water on the furnace room floor. The boiler was leaking. I called and Marshall Oil was at our home within a half hour at 8 pm! The issue was resolved with no charge. We are grateful to have a local, reliable company for oil delivery and service.
This is my 25th year as a customer of Marshall Oil. Everyone is professional, the owners are involved in te business, and they make everything easy. I wish every service company was this easy to work with.
Our family has been customers of this company for three generations. Now and then we have received suggestions about changing to suppliers with cheaper oil. Now and then there have been, indeed, places with cheaper oil. What the other places did not have is the extraordinary commitment to service. Time of day, time of the year, Marshall will take care of you, pleasantly, competently, and thoroughly. The people coming have families, holidays, times off. They still came. We cannot recommend them strongly enough.
Been using them for years. They've come at 2AM on a subzero January night to fix my boiler which wouldn't stay on. And they've come every other time I needed them. Prices are high for oil, but who else are you going to call at 2AM in January and know they will come. As to the previous review- you are being highly unfair to this company. I just bought a new house where Marshall had installed some new equipment for the seller less than a year ago. it has never worked correctly, and after two tries fixing it they told me that they would not try anymore as I am not an existing oil contract. I had explained to them that I had already signed a contract with another company and could not change until next spring and would consider them but they did not care. Terrible customer service. Would never switch to them.You should not either.
