I had a psychiatry referral to Lifestance, and discussed the medications I was taking which have been effective from my primary care provider. During scheduling, the scheduler directed me to the Westerville clinic specifically because she said the providers there were capable of continuing the particular medications I was on, which was communicated clearly. I have been seeing Dr. Abbott for quite a few months now and cannot speak highly enough about the compassion and support she has given me. I was very nervous for my first intake appointment and Dr. Abbott made me feel safe, welcomed, and heard. She is a tremendous listener and has helped me more than any other mental health professional has in the past. Thank you Dr. Abbott for all the support and undivided attention you've given me!

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience with Mary Abbott. She is not very personable. Every time I met with her I felt as if she was rushing me out of her office. She has also made me feel very uncomfortable by how judgmental she is. I would not describe her as a good provider for mental health.

Had an appointment set up for months. The day of the appointment, Lifestance, Mary Abbott's "organization", called and said Mary was no longer accepting new patients. Both Lifestance and Mary Abbott show a lack of decent communication skills and a lack of sensitivity to someone needing help. Have to start looking anew for a provider.
