A scheduler called me yesterday and told me to come in “tomorrow at 10, arrive 15 minutes early” currently my car is in the shop and I spent $50 on Ubers that I don’t really have to be here and took time off work that I couldn’t afford and when I got here I got this note on the door, and no one to talk to on the phone until Monday. I really wish I got the schedulers name. I’m assuming it’s because Iv notice third party scheduling and if that’s the case they really need to do a better job with communication.
Dr Durbanwick is an excellent doctor. She has always taken time with me and allows me to talk with her which is kind of rare these days. She listens to what you have to say and acts on it. I would recommend her to everyone.
I was extremely disappointed with my experience with Dr. Derbinwick. While her bedside manner initially made me feel heard and understood, it became clear that she did not take my functional seizures seriously simply because they were nonepileptic. Instead of addressing the NEUROLOGICAL aspect of my functional NEUROLOGICAL disorder, she dismissed my concerns and provided what felt like a generic response: a referral to physical therapy for fall prevention. As a medical professional myself, I was extremely impressed with Dr. Derbenwick’s intelligence, her very thorough exam, the questions she asked pertaining to my concerns, her overall mannerisms and professionalism was top notch. I would highly recommend her. Her nurse was also very professional and knowledgable as well.
Dr. Derbenwick has the worst bedside manner I have experienced or witnessed in the medical industry. She is also ignorant regarding her specialty and medicine as a whole. She is a narcissist with zero empathy and should not be a practicing physician.
