What I love most about Maryand Fresh Seafood is the service. When you get to the counter, you are enveloped with a cocoon of warmth, friendliness, and a general feeling of well-being...you are not just another customer, but a friend or family member for whom they want the best! I have had and am in love with the spiced shrimp. Equally good, at least according to my friend, is the fried shrimp. Attested to by the fact that I had to beg her to give me two of the shrimp from a one pound order!
Literally just left this place maybe a half hour ago and WOW am I impressed! I needed to go to the post office but wanted to grab lunch before I went home so I noticed this place and googled the opening hrs which said 11am. Their door was already open at 1030 but figured they were airing out the store or whatever so I patiently waited to call them at around 1045 to see if they would accept my order. Came through for 2LBS jumbo shrimp and asked for no spice.They added spice,No big deal, because there are folks that look for trouble and would have gave these guys a hard time for that.. Freddie corrected my order, and the guy is ALWAYS respectful.. Thats one of the main reasons I've been getting all my seafood from these guys.
Fish had no flavor and the portion was small. We ordered catfish and it looked like fish nuggets. The fish didn’t taste fresh and he taste as if it was cooked in old grease. Will not return!
Food is made fresh and is very flavorful. I didn’t have to wait long for my order as they weren’t too busy. I’ve never had a better lump crab cake.
