I have been a customer for 8 years and this year my lawn looks terrible. Massey acknowledge in June this was a cinch bug problem and said it would be taken care of. Well it was not and I understand they had a change of local manager. That is still no excuse to not have taken care of this 3 months ago. I had the new manager visit two weeks ago and again assured me this would be taken care of in a couple days with a separate cinch bug treatment followed up with my regular treatment 2 weeks later. We have been paying Massey for over 20 years to take care of our lawn (St. Augustine grass). In the beginning their service was great and our lawn looked very nice. This year the lawn has gone downhill fast. We have large patches of dead grass and the weeds have begun to take over. This spring (2025) I paid Massey's irrigation department to replace some sprinkler heads that were leaking. The tech installed the new heads but did not adjust the spray pattern. Massey has been our yard, pest control, and termite inspection for many years now. They are doing a great job. I also do all my statements with them online, and it takes me about 10 seconds from beginning to end to complete the transaction.
I just purchased a home Aug 15 2024 and had massey lawn service agreement signed and started service Sept 12. Five days later (9/16) I called the ocala fl. Office and notified them my grass was dead in the front and side yard. On 9/18 the GM came out to inspect and notified me they would start supplemental treatments. On 9/20 I was told they would order grass plugs and it would take 2 weeks to arrive. On 9/23 I notified the corporate office of my dead grass. On 9/25 massy came to fertilize the lawn. When I need to talk to representatives or service personnel at MASSEY, they are very nice to interface with. I do have one problem area in my front yard that MASSEY has been working on. I would like to have some help on how to make it better.
