I just purchased a home Aug 15 2024 and had massey lawn service agreement signed and started service Sept 12. Five days later (9/16) I called the ocala fl. Office and notified them my grass was dead in the front and side yard. On 9/18 the GM came out to inspect and notified me they would start supplemental treatments. We have Massey doing our lawn, bushes and trees, pest control and termite protection. I have cameras around my house. First I’ll start with the termite service. Every year they are supposed to come check the little green bait things they put in my yard. This year he came but I’m not sure he opened all of them to look inside. My cameras showed nothing. The inspector was courteous, friendly and explained everything that should be done. He told me that I could not cut the roots out that damaged the irrigation line. A technician would do it. The technician arrived on time, adjuster sprinkler heads but he wasn't able to cut out the roots that is causing the problems with the irrigation system. I contacted the service manager and he knew nothing about it. Overal the price was high and the quality of the service is low.
Massey Lawn care is terrible in OTOW. My grass has never looked good. I have lots of weeds, bare patches, and mostly brown grass. I water 3 times a week. Very frustrating. I would not recommend Massey if you want your yard to look nice. They set my sprinklers so they can't blame me for the watering schedule.
Our Massey service man was terrific. Explained what was wrong with the sprinkler area and fixed it efficiently. And he was very pleasant.
