Prepaid over $1000 for a year of lawncare. Went okay for that year. Little did I know, I actually signed up for a subscription service. I was considering renewing when I noticed they sent me a bill. I was like hold on I thought I prepaid. They sent me my contract where it said, they would continue after that year and it requires 30 days notice to cancel. We have used Massey Services in the past but our recent encounter with James Reeves and Massey Services was over the top. We just bought a new home and James was able to explain and talk through our options with us. We were so pleased with his professionalism; knowledge and manners. He was friendly and patient and answered our questions. He delivered what he promised and returned our calls. Didn’t took them much time to kill most of my grass. They tried to fix it with their Command product and over-seeding but the lawn was already too far gone. Thanks for killing my grass and taking my money Massey! 🤦♂️
Although the services are great, their billing and advertizing is poor. We've had a couple of situations that seem mismanaged. Last year we were due a refund of around $400. It took several phone calls and 6 weeks to process! Last week we renewed an irrigation contract. This week an email went out to current customers if you sign up for a new service, you can get a $50 discount. However, I was told that since it was a renewal, it doesn't qualify. After much concern over the state of our lawn this past winter, we decided to trust Massey to get it green again. They have! We use Massey for lawn, shrubs, irrigation and termite control. Michael just spent a good deal of time getting our irrigation system fixed. He explained all options and we are looking forward to sprong and summer with a healthy lawn and garden.
