We lived there for 4 years. We had a roach infestation constantly asked for the bug guy but that was hard to ever get, shootings in the areas and had to run outside, one person shot outside our window and died, the gate being rammed by police for a chase not once but twice, a person being hit by a car, floors being distorted by maintenance moving things and not being repaired, maintained complaining about tenants to other maintenance telling them to beware of some tenants as they will actually ask for work to be done, kitche... read more
I moved into the Mathews Henson apartments in 2019. for a long time I felt it was a great place close to everything but this last past year and a half it's been hell things not getting fixed I've been without heat/AC since October of 2024 Everytime I go in the office it's the same thing we are waiting on whatever. worst thing to me is they do not communicate with their residents if there is a problem simply communicate which in my prospective will eliminate a lot of confusion and frustration. Staff at front desk are completely incompetent, as they do not know what is going on with their own website and what is available, communication is nonexistent, don’t bother calling because they probably not going to pick up or get back to you. Also if you not Hispanic don’t bother applying.
I am so pleased to have a new manager that actually cares about the property and helps the residents Joanna has been very helpfull and i hope she stays for a long time
Waited 3 months to get in, relieved and thankful, praying it's all worth it 🙏🏽❤️
