I moved into the Mathews Henson apartments in 2019. for a long time I felt it was a great place close to everything but this last past year and a half it's been hell things not getting fixed I've been without heat/AC since October of 2024 Everytime I go in the office it's the same thing we are waiting on whatever. worst thing to me is they do not communicate with their residents if there is a problem simply communicate which in my prospective will eliminate a lot of confusion and frustration. I really appreciate the Matthew Henson's apartments they are really good and new manager Joanne Madrid is doing a great job the people in the office are very nice it's been so many different changes around here got a new washing machine so the Matthew hensons are doing a great job thanks for being on top of stuff

I’ve put in so many maintenance work orders over the past year and none of them have ever gotten done and if they do come check it out they tell you there’s nothing wrong and then leave. Or if you have an emergency order and call the number provided the operator will tell you they’ve been in contact with the maintenance team and someone will be there soon but you won’t hear from them and when you finally do hear from them they’ll try to tell you how to fix your problem over the phone instead of actually coming to fix you the... read more

I am so pleased to have a new manager that actually cares about the property and helps the residents Joanna has been very helpfull and i hope she stays for a long time
