Dr. Markis worked with me to find the right medication and dosage for my mental health issues. This was challenging as I have had reactions to most of the common SSRI's. My appointments are not rushed, he listens to my concerns and shows a genuine concern for my well-being.
Dr Markis listens , patient, kind and supportive to my son’s needs. Dr Markis offers suggestions with respect. Allison his office manager is exactly the same . Easy to set up Telehealth appointments . I would recommend this team to anyone. It was easy to get started . Easy to get a return message or phone is answered by a team for evaluation . Dr. Markis was attentive and took his time with me. I was anxious about medication and suggested a test to see what meds may work best for me. He wasn't rushed or pushy. He made me feel respected and valued as a patient.
Had two appointments scheduled and CONFIRMED for FIVE WEEKS away as he was busy. Day of first appointment no contact. Community Psychiatry does not respond to phone calls. Later was told Dr. Markis CANCELLED my appointments without any notification. Have no idea what his services are, as he cannot be reached. AVOID this doctor.
I would not recommend Dr. Markis. He was quick to only prescribe to my teenager without asking thorough questions. My son is an addict and nothing was mentioned of the caveats of drugs with prescriptions or no communication on positive reinforcement. I wrote a letter to the office. It was a horrible experience.
