Maureen Murphy is one of several midwives we see in our journey. However, she doesn't make you feel like one of many patients. She is always calm, direct and caring. I always feel at ease when she is with us. I have to bring my kids to each appt and she is warm and welcoming amidst the chaos. I switched from a local OBGYN practice after my first traumatic birth. After a terrible, patronizing experience with my (male) OBGYN doctor, I had been referred by my chiropractor to midwifery, and Maureen Murphy in particular.
