Above Average - **** The buffet is an attractive feature of Mazzios. There are not much variety in the pizza toppings but the salad, cinnamon rolls and brownies are good. They refill at regular intervals in my experience. I would recommend to reach there atleast by 12 for hot pizza. Among the pizzas, I loved the pepperoni and jalapeno one. If possible, check the website since they have coupons. I had a $7.99 coupon for lunch buffet
Dinner buffet is a rip off. Way to many people and 0 pizzas. They have like 2 - 3 old pizzas out at a time that go so fast because everyone is mobbing over them. It's a Saturday night!!!! I realize the 51st and Sheridan location is truly the best.
Going here is like getting the best comfort food and service around. I asked if they could " bake" my Buffalo Style chicken wings vs. fry them. Coming from NE USA, I experienced how real Buffalo Chicken Wings are made. They are baked, not fried, and served with celery and Blue Cheese Dressing. As I explained this to the lady behind the counter, she KNEW exactly what I was talking about. She, too, came from living up north. I prefer mazzios pizza compared to other places, but the last 2 times there was long hair in my pizza. I know it wasn't mine because it had product in it. Please go back to some sort of hair restraint so i can start ordering there again.
Ticket said "20 minute wait" ... wasn't ready when I got there on time. Was told to wait around the side. Fine I've waited there before. But then it was 40 minutes after my time. Decided to go inside and wait. They only had half of my order ready and I had to remind them that I was waiting on other food. On top of that my food that was ready beforehand was cold by the time I left 😒 it was a whole hour by the time I left. If it was gonna be an hour wait JUST SAY SOMETHING ON THE DANG WEBSITE! 😒
