Mazzios is one of my favorite pizza joints. Nice selection of foods like salads or subs+fries and of course Pizza, is a semi Pricey place but it's nice. Normally do pickups here and staff are quick and friendly. Parking varies depending on day/time but normally a spot or two is open When you arrive early there's a bench you can rest on and wait which is very nice, however being a light dude the bench slowly bends into place and honestly is seen better days and Is ready to be replaced. I ordered from the “special’” menu online and choose the “Pick TWO pizzas” so I choose a pizza and assumed I was getting TWO since that was the special, I received one so I called and the rude customer service agent, Carmen, told me “I ordered WRONG” and condescendingly told me that she would call the local store at 81St & Yale and it would be “up to them” if they would honor the “special” that I had already paid for and make another pizza but they said NO! I don't know what the big guys problem is, but treat everyone with the same courtesy and niceness. He was so nice and sweet to the lady before me at the counter, then he was a complete dick and abrasive to me. Treat everyone the same dude especially when I didn't do or say anything to you.
I've ordered 2 pizzas while stuck in hospital. One online and one thru call center.. Each time I've asked for square cut so my mom can eat the pizza is smaller slices. Ad photos show Mazzios doesn't read well and needs to not offer an option they don't do. Stores manager quote was "I don't know" both times.
I had a pizza delivered this evening, the order was placed at 6:00 pm and my instructions were to "knock on the door" but that did not happen. It was supposed to take 30-40 to be delivered and after 50 min. my husband opened the door and the pizza was sitting at the edge of the steps on the second floor of our apartment. The pizza was cold $12.99 and the 16oz. container of homemade ranch dressing $5.49 was hot. When we opened the box, it looked as though it had been thrown to its resting place to the second floor.
