After 30 years in our home, we made the big decision to move to Meadowood. Now, three months later, the only question we ask is "Why not sooner?" My wife, a constant worrier, now has nothing to worry about. Our biggest problem is trying to manage our schedule so we don't over-schedule. You can do as much or as little as you like. The food is excellent, the staff is warm and friendly, and more importantly, extremely competent. My wife says it is like living at an all-inclusive resort.
Beyond Meadowood having the complete Senior Living package of accommodations, great dining, special events, wonderful welcoming residents, plus medical support as required, the entire staff has not forgotten "who took them to the dance." Joining the Community is a continuing exposure to the caring staff striving to enhance the Journey at Meadowood. Definitely a Five Star Experience!
Meadowood is a peaceful, beautiful senior living community with all the amenities. There are activities to suit all interests and the Health & Wellness program recently won national recognition for excellence. The residents and staff are friendly and engaging. The dining services are excellent, often catering to special events and celebrations. I believe Providence led us to Meadowood. Of the few places we visited in 2015, Meadowood was the nicest and most economical. We have never regretted our decision. I am very positive about Meadowood. Though we loved our home at Whitpain Farm, we decided that moving to a life plan community "5 years too soon rather than 5 year too late" a wise choice. The mission defines Meadowood; residents are encouraged to live in a manner they find comfortable.
