I was taken right in and my problems have thankfully been resolved. They were able to reschedule quickly and were very thorough. UPDATE: This is not a Psychiatrist. I was under the assumption I was seeing a Dr. of Psychiatry. WRONG- I was seeing a "Provider". This person does not have the full powers of a Psychiatrist, and therefore is limited in the same way a medical doctor hires fifty Physicians assistants that are limited in scope and prescribing abilities. Melinda is so great! I have been seeing her since April. She is patient and really listens to her patients! My treatment plan has done wonders for me ❤️
Visit was good and helpful, however, my prescription hasn’t been sent over to the pharmacy, and isn’t clear when I’ll get it, which is the reason for the one star. I’ll update my review once I get the prescription. Otherwise liked the office, just need a more efficient way of getting prescriptions sent to pharmacies. Edit: got the prescription after a day or so. Had second follow-up and appreciate the nurse continually reviewing my prescription doses to determine if it’s right for me.
Melinda Kiser is an excellent psychiatrist. I’m a new patient. I appreciate her taking the time to ask me a bunch of thoughtout and random questions to get to know me and my dx. I plan on following her treatment plan and am hopeful the results will be what I need at this time in my life.
I was so pleased to have Dr Kiser to talk to. She was so easy to talk to and very understanding.
