If you love expensive sandwiches and salads then this place is perfect. The decor is cute and there's corn hole to play. The benches are also covered with a fake grass that makes it look kitschy. Props to their free sampling on sides. The ordering method can be a little weird though as people will take up space looking at the menu and you don't know if you can pass them etc. Not sure why...

Interesting quotes on every single wall! The food is geared towards the healthier side, as this sandwich is the "Not so fried" chicken, where it wasn't really fried. It definitely attracts a crowd, located right next to UCI. The menu offers sandwiches and salads and a few sides that you can try before deciding to buy too. I recommend the passion fruit tea, extremely refreshing in the summer....
Once again it’s National Sandwich Month! So what a better way to celebrate it than with Mendocino Farms Sandwiches & Marketplace! Now with a fairly new location in Irvine (right on Campus drive a block down from University Dr.), it is even easier to enjoy their delicious sandwiches. Based on our great experience last year, Wendy and I couldn’t wait to visit again.
