My nurse’s were great. The doctor was horrible. I never had this experience before. Mercy is usually great. The doctor I had made it a bad experience. My primary doctor sent me there. This doctor just rushed me out. And I wasn’t the only one. He did it to other patients also.
This was my first visit for any type of medical care in Massachusetts having just moved here last month. Everyone was super friendly, it was honestly the best ER experience I have ever had! In less than 2 hours, I was admitted, x-rayed, seen by the DR, treated and referred out for next steps needed. Every person I encountered from the moment we walked in the door was courteous, professional, attentive and helpful.
The 1 star is for A WAZNER THE PA in the Emergency Department. She has to be the rudest doctor I have ever seen. I was seen and admitted for Kidney stones needing surgery. She came into my room and said I had 2 options 1 call a urologist myself and get an appointment next day to schedule surgery or she can admit me and call them herself, but the thing is she told me I had 2 minutes to make my choice. I had the choice to go to Mercy or baystate when I needed emergency care and without hesitation I chose Mercy and I couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of my care. Every staff member from the ER staff to the nurses to the doctors provided me the best care and kept me informed of my condition and steps they were taking for my treatment. A fantastic organization and quality people that I highly recommend
Despite being a busy day, everything was handled smoothly & I was seen in a timely manner. Coming in by ambulance with possible cardiac issues may have had something to do with it. Nurses were efficient & kind. I don't know how they deal with the busy-ness all day. Nurse Shaina was amazing. She was able to calm down an agitated patient next to me and still carry on with the rest of us. A+
