My NP, who is my primary provider at the moment is super sweet and helpful. However, most of the other staff are rude and unprofessional. The first time I went I got my blood drawn and the woman doing it didn’t introduce herself, barely talked and didn’t explain anything she was doing. She also drew two vials without telling me before hand. This made me super nauseous as well because I had never had my blood drawn. My second time coming was today and again my NP was awesome! My 1 year old granddaughter went to the lab for a finger stick. My daughter was never told the extent of the amount of blood or the process in which my granddaughter was going to be put through. I had a really good experience, the staff, the app, the interactions were easy all around. Lexi did my intake, Natasha drew my labs; they were friendly & efficient and I’m pleased with my new doc. Well done Trinity Health.

Why would you charge somebody twice for an influenza test? You didn’t swab twice you didn’t use two test kits. You only used 1 test kit and that 1 test kit will tell you the results whether you have A or B influenza but you are charging patients twice, $23 for influence A and then you’re gonna charge them again, $23 for influenza B!! You should probably let the rest of your patients know that if they are going to get an influenza test that we are going to charge you double, $46. Pretty sure a lot of people will reconsider h... read more

I briefly went to Mercy East Village because I had just moved to the neighborhood and after one introductory visit with Dr. Abels, she informed me that she's relocating to the Ankeny location. I ended up following her there because I had already started the process with her. She was constantly on vacation, I had to track her and her nurse down for WEEKS to get prescriptions refilled (serious prescriptions that should not be stopped and started over and over again) and could never get an appt. because she was literally always... read more
