I had my mammogram done in this centre third year in a row. This is really women comfort place. They are prompt, quick, professional and very nice. No waiting, no hustle. Place looks comfortable, doesn’t feel like you are in a hospital.
Every. single person here has treated me with compassion, kindness, and professionalism. They have gone out of their way to make sure I understand my treatments options, to provide me with information, and make sure my concerns are heard and addressed. Dr. T and Tammie, along with the rest of the staff, from those who answer the phones, to the imaging folks and everyone in between, have been angels in disguise to this very appreciative patient!
It’s impossible to get someone on the phone to just schedule appointments. No one ever answers the phone. They leave a voicemail and then I try to call back at different times through the day and I can’t get a single answer.
A mammogram appointment is just something that most women get nervous about. My experience with the Comfort Health Center for Women front desk staff this morning put me on edge even more. When I walked in, two of the receptionists were deeply involved helping a patient on the phone. It appeared to be a bit contentious, but instead of taking the phone call to a private location, they dealt with it in front of all of the waiting patients. I enjoy the doctors at this clinic. My PCP, Erin, is really great and I’ve done PT here and it was a great experience. The negative review is because nobody answers the phone at the front desk. It’s impossible to schedule an appointment. There isn’t an online app so your only choice is to call the front desk and leave a message. You can’t talk to anyone here about insurance either. Extremely disappointing considering how excited I was about a “women’s comfort center”.
