Bad experiences with both doctors I saw. Didn't get any where, besides just making me feel stupid for coming. Would not recommend to go here.
I have been trying to set a appointment with neurosurgeon since I was originally recommended for surgery. I wanted to insure they had all records from beginning until now before making the initial appointment due to the length of my drive and so they could understand my concerns about the matter with my health care. From the beginning to end, it was very welcoming. Including getting the appointment. Dr.Kohout was very comforting and informative with any questions I had about my prior stroke and how I was addressing my risk factors. I highly recommend him and this facillity!
Refused our ADA requested accommodation related to my husband's hearing impairment to allow me to come in with him (even if I was masked and temperature checked). Only allowed accommodation if patient doesn't speak English. Covid-19 or not, THIS IS NOT OK. My husband has had one previous appointment with Dr Spellman prior to Covid-19 pandemic and would rate that appointment/care at that time with a 5-star.
Excellent surgeons work here, I had a stroke just before my release, and my Dr. saved my life! She did my life saving surgery and then put me on a helicopter to a more suitable hospital.
