Ive been going here for YEARS! The staff is super friendly. Sheena is a great doctor. All the nurses are super professional and caring. The receptionists are amazing as well.
I called on a Wednesday to ask if i could be seen as I have this sickness that is going around. My regular doctor is in Waverly (MercyOne affiliate) and I did not have the energy to drive to Waverly. I called MercyOne in Evansdale and was told they would need to check with the doctor if I would be a good fit?? Yes a good fit?? I am completely blown away and so was my primary care physician! They never heard of such a thing! …and by the way…it is now Monday and I still have not heard back from them!
We had been going there for years. We were going here for many years & loved all the dr''s & staff until Angie Ames came out her & the dr before her left! Angie was NOT professional at all! We found a dr at the Waterloo Clinic & our son saw a dr at the one at Crossing ( This one is harder to get into & have to call the Evansdale clinic to make the appointments for the Crossing clinic. I have asked to that a better dr could be placed at the Evansdale Clinic. There are many of us elders that enjoyed the closeness to our homes.... read more
I called this office with my uncle who is a patient to voice my concerns that they needed to order his scans STAT and admit him to the hospital. I called twice and spoke to 2 different nurses. They said that Angie, nurse practitioner, did not feel that he needed to be admitted, nor did the scan needed to be ordered STAT. Long story short, 8 days later my uncle passed away from terminal lung cancer that was diagnosed at the hospital. This office thought my uncle wasn’t sick enough!!
