Nurse Megan was a complete and total see you next Tuesday to me. I had the audacity to inquire from this "medical professional" as to why this heart clinic is not able to perform an INR test. Regrettably, she opened her mouth in my direction in such a negative fashion....it caused me to stand and immediately exit the room, prior to addressing her in a tone that she was most deserving of. My father in law has had visits, never heard back from anyone. He calls. No one answers. And this has been going on for awhile. And apparently this is normal because my wife works in health care and she says the same about how TERRIBLE Iowa Heart is with communication and customer service. And according to her, there is no other option. This is TERRIBLE. Please do better.
Check in was smooth. Nurse got to me quickly. There was a delay between the nurse leaving and the doctor arriving, but it wasn't terrible. Dr Sorentino is just spectacular. Would recommend her to anyone who needs treatment or consultation for arrhythmia.
Do not use this location. They don’t seem to care much about their patients. It would be lovely if they would answer their phones or return voicemails from patients, pharmacy or even other MercyOne heart locations. Their administrative incompetence reflects their doctor’s level of professionalism.
I waited 15 minutes to get checked in. The nurse comes out, calls my name, and then yells at me that I'm not checked in yet. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. I'm very disappointed with my experience here.
