The providers, staff and techs at the Midwifes office is amazing. With every step of my pregnancy they took time to answer questions and help me understand all aspects of my care. My delivery with my midwife was outstanding and even though I ended up with a c-section I knew that was the best path for my health. The nursing staff both at the hospital and the midwifes office were connected and knew my medical history and my medications. Over all this was way better than my expectations. The staff are always super kind, and answer any questions you have. I was taken care of by a PAC and met each of the doctors 1 time, then during fetal echo i met my doctor again. I ended up having a premature baby and he apparently was stuck at the airport (somewhere) and my emergency c-section was taken care of by the on call surgeon at Mercy across the street.. Have had a couple appointments and only once got to meet with the doctor. The last two visits the questions I had, the nurses couldn’t answer and the doctor didn’t make time to meet and answer my questions. There’s a reason I was referred to perinatal, I’m high risk and to not have questions answered is unacceptable. Only gave the actual facility a 2 star because it’s a clean office. The front staff needs more customer service training.
I used the midwives here from my first appointment to giving birth. All the way through Emily and Diane and Sharon were awesome! I would recommend to moms wanting to go the midwife route.
I love the staff at this clinic they are all very friendly and knowledgeable. Most definitely the best Mercy clinic in the state of Iowa hands down!
