First time with the west clinic ER. NOT impressed. Triage room was 5 ft from the front desk, urine drop cups next to the printer, worker vacuuming the entire lobby full of people including under my wife who was violently ill sitting in a wheelchair. Triage staff 10/10. Front end staff 5/10 service? I didn't see a single person taken back from the front waiting area in over 2 hours including a man who was missing a finger (at least.) he got to come back out and sit next to us. I feel that the new standard of care is the bare ... read more
Avoid at all costs, all costs, it could cost you a lot more than money. There is something seriously wrong with the management of this facility. After waiting in the ER for 3 hours with a sick child, we gave up and went home to try and find a different care provider the following day. We are new to the area and didn't know what we were in for, very stressful and disappointing.
This is supposed to be the better ER in the area, and I would hate to see what the bad ones are up to. Brought my SO who is actively having convulsions. We are currently sitting in their waiting room and I'm watching her have convulsions for 3 hours and now they have done nothing. I've watched a half dozen people come in and be taken back before her, and we are still waiting. I get how triage works and this feels more like bias. Don't be a female presenting challenging symptoms- it's easier to treat you like you are crazy t... read more
Dr. Sayer is a know-it-all with a big mouth and doesn’t listen. He gatekeeps and acts like he knows everything, but he’s actually a very poor physician and should be avoided at all costs. He is precisely why so many people fear emergency medicine and the awful bedside manner that supposedly comes with it. 0/10 would not recommend.
Horrible experience and do not recommend. It took 2hrs to be brought to a room, 2hrs to be given a CT scan, and then another 2hrs for them to tell me I had gallstones, which I already knew because the results uploaded to MyChart within about 10mins after the scan was completed. We then had to wait another 1hr+ for the discharge papers that had to be written 3 separate times because they couldn’t get the correct medications filed (shout out to nurse Des, who was the most helpful and nicest to work with).
