easy setup, fast scans, color touchscreen works well
Update: After nearly 1 year of use in an office environment with 15 users, has held up well and been trouble-free.
Great all-in-one device for small to midsize offices. We installed this in an office environment with 15 users, replacing an older Brother model that had served us well for 6 years. Setup was a breeze. We configured the device to use a wired Ethernet connection, because we have an Ethernet port conveniently located near the printer, and wired is always better/more reliable than wireless.
We also configured the device to scan directly to a shared Google Drive folder, replacing our old method of scanning to an FTP site. Again, setup was quick and easy. The touchscreen offers the option of printing instructions for accomplishing this (and other) tasks, if you need it.
Scan and copy operations using the ADF are quick, and quality is more than good enough for general business use. The color touchscreen is a big improvement over the myriad of buttons and menu selections our old unit had, so we're happy with that. The touchscreen is quick and responsive, and easily readable under office lighting conditions.
It's a surprisingly small for a device of this type, with a narrow footprint at the base. Overall, a winner so far. If it lasts even half as long as the Brother MFC we had before, we'll be happy with the purchase.
