Dr. Masini saved my career after a horrible hip replacement by another surgeon. The first surgery left my glute med detached and failed instrumentation. Masini did revision replacement and I have been able to resume my job ever since. Dr. Masini is one of very best orthopedic surgeons in the state. His PA Matt Hodrosky is awesome as well. You will have to wait to be seen by him, that's a good thing when it comes to surgeons. If you are seen and scheduled quickly for surgery you have to ask yourself why reseach your Doctor.
Hard to get in as he is very busy but if use have a failed joint replacement he that man to fix it!
Dr Masini performed 2 hip replacements on me and both times I was very satisfied with the entire experience. He is not only very skilled but has the personality to match.
Failed to admit mistake in a hip replacement he performed. Revision done by different orthopedic surgeon in same hospital who quickly diagnosed problem and did a revision surgery on hip. Investigated suing original doctor, but very difficult to prove "failure to admit problem."
I arrived at Dr. Masini's office on time and was promptly escorted to an exam room where I waited for 1-1/2 hours for Dr. Masini to arrive. He offered no apology for his lateness. Dr. Masini performed a brief range of motion exam and took no medical history prior to recommending a surgical procedure that three other orthopaedic surgeons had advised against.
