Ok situation. Frightening after reading the other reviews. Husband said the staff were mostly polite except for one nurse. Procedure was done in excellent time and this was crucial so we are most grateful! Scheduler was extremely nice and office upstairs is absolutely great!!!

If I could leave a ZERO STAR rating I would! I almost NEVER leave reviews of any kind…but I had to bring my horror story and experience with this provider to the public so you all can avoid being SCAMMED and wrongfully sent to collections..beware…I had a colonoscopy performed here in August 2022, almost immediately I began receiving a very expensive bill, I was dual insured with amazing coverage at the time so I immediately reached out to their billing department and my insurance company. I was given the run around for A YEA... read more

This facility incorrectly billed my routine screening. Which has caused me to have to "fight" with the billing office and my insurance for over 6 months. Due to family and personal history, I go every 5 years. The billing department has attached a Medicare modifier to the bill (I am not a Medicare recipient) they need to use a different modifier for non-Medicare patients, when the screening goes from routine to diagnostic due to the finding of a polyp. I am being charged for the service and I have not met my deductible for... read more

This facility billed my routine screening as history of polyps resulting in me paying more out of pocket. I go every 5 years according to insurance as preventative so this facility is obviously getting more money by billing as a history. I also do not recommend this facility because they make you stand in the hall and call you in one at a time to do the intake. Felt like I was signing up for the army and having to stand in the hallway of a commercial building. Office staff was not friendly. Never again!

Had to split the difference on my rating. 5☆ for Dr. Raphael. He is an excellent surgeon, great bedside manner and skills in the operating room. Office/ billing staff, 0☆. GOLDEN NUGGET OF INFO HERE: If you have a Colonoscopy done and it IS PREVENTATIVE (Not medically necessary. Meaning it was an annual check or you were of age to get this done, or had a positive Cologuard, etc), it is 100% covered by the Affordable Care Act. Do not pay the bills when they come in, simply call your insurance company right away, and have the... read more
