Had a driveshaft made for a hot rod project of mine. I spoke to the guys there in the shop that were building it for me. They were very knowledgeable, knew exactly what I needed and gave me a rough estimate. The driveshaft was built within a few hours and I was able to pay for it through email and then pick it up after hours which was great for me! Installed the driveshaft and it fit perfectly. Everyone was great to deal with and friendly. Very smooth transaction.
I asked for the alignment of the right front wheel of my truck to be worn and for 1 axle. After making me wait for 7 hours, they said that 1 axle is not possible, we need to do it with 3 axles and forced me to do it. At the end of the process, they did not give me an alignment report, they said trust me, everything was done to the best and now I have gone 1000 miles and all my wheels are worn. They say they are a company with 100 years of experience but they are scammers.
I had a driveshaft built by A-1 in Baltimore about 7 years ago. It was due for new u-joints and carrier bearing, so, I panicked when I saw A-1 was "permanently closed". Luckily, the same guys are now employed under M&M and getting service was as easy and convenient as I had hoped. I dropped it off unannounced, ran a few errands, and got a call in about two hours saying it was ready.
Our 5th wheel lost a tire (literally) on interstate about 3 miles from this shop. The wheel and drum came off the spindle. They were great to get us right in for repair. Ron Middleton was very accommodating and took a personal interest to get us fixed up and on our way. Parts and a new tire had to be ordered and were received next day. The technician, Earl had 30+ years experience and was super. He explained our issues and repairs required in a very professional and courteous manner.
Middleton and Mead saved our day! We tried for 3 days to find someone to realign our Spartan passive tag axle on our Motorcoach, to no avail, on our trip from Texas back to Canada. This issue was causing excessive tire wear and steering issues. Ron and his team confidently took on our dilemma and had us back on the road in no time.
