I am very disappointed with the level of service I experienced today at Midwest Urgent Care in Melrose Park. I have visited this location several times before and never had an issue, which is why today’s experience was so surprising. After being placed in a patient room, my son and I waited for over an hour with no updates or communication. During that time, both a medical assistant and the physician saw me clearly looking for assistance, yet neither acknowledged me or offered any guidance. Always a great experience coming here. I have been coming at the Melrose Park location for a while and always leave well attended! The front staff is always sweet and welcoming and so are the nurses/doctors. I work with children, so whenever I need a quick check-up or need any exams done for work, I’m thankful for a place like this! ☺️
Went in with my wife and they didn't let me pass with her for the first 10 minutes. Then it turns out they didn't perform one of the tests they were explicitly asked to perform during the visit. When the doctor called a week later to go over the results and we inquired about the other test she said they didn't do that one. The best thing she said she could do is have us come in for a follow-up appointment for $40. Unfortunately, this isn’t are go to clinic! Took my children on 3/26. Getting checked in was a breeze, they called us right away. Young lady (started with a T) took the vitals was great. Too good, that I don’t think she properly swabbed them. We moved on to the second room to wait for the NP. Young lady T came back with the promised goodies for them. All is good. NP Sheri Jakupovic was amazing! My 4 year old daughter loved her and said she was really nice and pretty lol. Overall the visit was great the lady who did the vitals was wonderful as well. I do think the front desk person could be a little bit welcoming, I don’t think she was mean she just came off as really tough and hard core. Almost like you didn’t wanna ask too much or do too much.
