I went with such a messy car, mud all over and I'd been given a packet of car washes of the lowest value. I asked the young kids, "should I give you guys extra money to try to get the mud off?", and they said no we can do it all and they worked hard in the cold rain to help me even though they didn't have to. And they didnt complain they just cleaned fast and efficiently. I just feel like I was really impressed by kids that would do that.
$22 wash and it's not capable of cleaning a truck. My husband went back around and said the truck is still too dirty. The lady working replied I don't know what you want us to do your truck had bugs on it, and let him go back through. If your carwash and staff are not capable of washing a vehicle, it would be nice if you communicated that rather than just take money for a supbar wash at a premium price.

This is the second time in a row that I've had problems at the Mike's Carwash on Dupont. The first time they would not stop the Carwash when there was a problem with my car and sent me through anyway, risking potential major damage to my car. Today I went through primarily to get my windshield clean. Not only did my windshield not come out clean, but there was still stuff all over my sunroof. I took my car into the wash because it was a relatively new Mike's wash, and the flat rales for the tires were good for protecting rims. When my car came out, my taillight was missing. They did a review and said it was not their fault. My equipment on my car was faulty. It was factory, and I have never had any accidents or problems with the taillights. They never inspected the car. I now know that any damage, even on a new vehicle, will be deemed a automotive defect. Beware. A $20.00 wash could add up to expensive repairs.
