My husband wanted desserts before we head up to our room and decided to check this place out. Got the cream puff swan, fruit tart and sprinkles waffle cone. Cream puff swan- too pretty to eat. Really good! Fruit tart- fresh fruits and the filling was delicious. Sprinkle waffle cone- my son doesn't like ice cream so he only got the the cone. He loves it! Customer service was quick. Eventhough the line was long, it moved pretty quick.
This is El Dorado's 24 hour cafe. My friend and I came in here for dinner after checking into the hotel and we were starving. It took about 15-20 minutes to get seated on a Saturday night so it wasn't too bad. I ended up getting their prime rib special and my friend got their teriyaki bowl. The prime rib was really good. Very big portions prices are fair open 24/7 nice atmosphere and a large selection of menu items till 11 p.m. After 11, it's a shorter menu with mainly breakfast items . I enjoy their spaghetti with meat and garlic bread. There's enough for three people . Staff is very nice and serves quick.
Millies is awesome. I got to Reno super late (past 1am) and we were having trouble finding somewhere to eat so it was a relief to find this place open. We ate in the actual restaurant and I was happy with my breakfast burrito (and the fact they'd hold the eggs for me lol). We were staying in the El Dorado and grabbed a late night bite. We ordered the french toast, chicken fried steak and eggs, and New York cheesecake. The french toast was so good!! If you love sweet bread you need to order this. The menu says it's homemade bread. The chicken fried steak was okay, overall that dish gets a 2/5. Nothing to brag about for that dish. We used Millies for our wedding cake & pies. Cindy Felix is AMAZING and her team is spectacular at what they do down in that decorating room. Our desserts were affordable and delicious and they were very easy to work with! Would highly recommend for wedding day treats! Thank you Cindy!
We only had ice cream (gelato) Very friendly. Gelato was excellent! A single scoop was like 1.5. The cones were fresh. Sadly, the chocolate covered strawberries were starting to turn overripe. They were not crisp and firm. Still, we were given 4 when we ordered 2. All in all, I wouldn't drive across town to get here, but I would definitely return when staying close.
Great prime rib, best horseradish, fresh sauteed veggies, and decadent mashed potatoes with mushroom gravy. Generous portions. The picture I am sharing was taken after I had eaten half of it and was feeling pretty full. I had a difficult time finding prime rib in the nearby casinos and restaurant. Delicious Breakfast fare, and desserts. My husband and I were in the mood for something a bit nicer than diner food... we got that (and then some) at Millies24 inside the El Dorado. We ordered the Joe's Special and the Southern Fried Steak and Eggs. Both were incredibly tasty, scratch-made and affordable. Great service too. Certainly hit the spot for us... We even came back to enjoy the treats from the dessert counter. Homemade cookies, pastries and pies... to die for. We'll definitely be back.
