Millies is awesome. I got to Reno super late (past 1am) and we were having trouble finding somewhere to eat so it was a relief to find this place open. We ate in the actual restaurant and I was happy with my breakfast burrito (and the fact they'd hold the eggs for me lol). We were staying in the El Dorado and grabbed a late night bite. We ordered the french toast, chicken fried steak and eggs, and New York cheesecake. The french toast was so good!! If you love sweet bread you need to order this. The menu says it's homemade bread. The chicken fried steak was okay, overall that dish gets a 2/5. Nothing to brag about for that dish. We used Millies for our wedding cake & pies. Cindy Felix is AMAZING and her team is spectacular at what they do down in that decorating room. Our desserts were affordable and delicious and they were very easy to work with! Would highly recommend for wedding day treats! Thank you Cindy!
We only had ice cream (gelato) Very friendly. Gelato was excellent! A single scoop was like 1.5. The cones were fresh. Sadly, the chocolate covered strawberries were starting to turn overripe. They were not crisp and firm. Still, we were given 4 when we ordered 2. All in all, I wouldn't drive across town to get here, but I would definitely return when staying close.
Great prime rib, best horseradish, fresh sauteed veggies, and decadent mashed potatoes with mushroom gravy. Generous portions. The picture I am sharing was taken after I had eaten half of it and was feeling pretty full. I had a difficult time finding prime rib in the nearby casinos and restaurant. Delicious Breakfast fare, and desserts. My husband and I were in the mood for something a bit nicer than diner food... we got that (and then some) at Millies24 inside the El Dorado. We ordered the Joe's Special and the Southern Fried Steak and Eggs. Both were incredibly tasty, scratch-made and affordable. Great service too. Certainly hit the spot for us... We even came back to enjoy the treats from the dessert counter. Homemade cookies, pastries and pies... to die for. We'll definitely be back.
Sad to say but this place was pretty much our worse experience here in Reno. Service was horrible and food matched that as well. Everything was either over cooked or not seasoned what so ever. Atmosphere here was quiet dead and not to mention we had to ask about 5-6 times if we could have our waters refilled and ask about twice for to go boxes. All in all if I'm being honest I probably would not come back here.

I'm making this rating based off a recent visit to their bakery/sweets counter. We strolled by this place and then I recalled that this is the place that did my wedding cake 17 years ago. For a while we would come back each year to this place and get a different dessert and take it to our ceremony site each anniversary. Today I got the mini banana cream pie. Takes an hour and a half to get your food when they weren't even busy. The food was cold and mediocre at best. The salad was brown. The server jerardo was the rudest server I ever met he spent most of his time talking to his co workers in the back and never came back to our table.
