This review is a compilation of five different dining visits this week during my stay at the Silver Legacy, the sister hotel next door to the Eldorado. Millie's is the only one of the three coffee shop restaurants on the Row to be open every day and early. They are not my first choice, Madame Butterwork's in Circus Circus is the best out of the three. We were in Reno to watch my daughter's game and we stayed at the Silver Legacy Hotel. If you have never stayed here, the Silver Legacy is attached to two other hotels, El Dorado and Circus Circus. There are many dining options and we went to Millies in the El Dorado. It was very busy and the staff worked hard. My table had three of us but only two silverware sets. They're open 24x7 and their desserts are so yummy. Great service and ambiance matches the casino.

Just stopped by this weekend with the Mrs. and two of the kids. Moderately busy on a Saturday night but we were seated right away. Wife's water glass was dirty at the rim and there was a half of a french fry on my seat so a great start! In any case, we all had breakfast for dinner as we figured that was something simple and hard to mess up. This was a fantastic experience and unexpected given all the crappy yelp reviews I saw. We were in Reno for a concert, and looking for food at 10:45 pm after the concert. None of the other sit down restaurants I tried after looking at yelp were open or offering food. In frustration, we went to Millies as we were staying in the Row. There was a 12 min wait at 11:45 pm. We had a great experience here. We started as a smaller group, but on our way over there, gathered a few more family members, and asked for a table for 8. This was a bit hard for them, but they gave us a booth, and let us pull a table up to it, and we were comfortably able to accommodate everyone. I enjoyed the coffee bar and pastries available although I did find the carrot cake a bit dry. I mainly ate from the Asian menu and I enjoyed all of them and the portions were surprisingly large. I always had leftover meals to enjoy.

Our typical late night spot at silver legacy is getting renovated so we ended up trying this place. Very clean, great service and we had the chilaquiles and chow mein. Huge servings and they were both pretty good. My chow mein was perfectly greasy with lots of chicken and just perfect for a late night soak up liquor meal. Wife's chilaquiles were crunchy and sauce was nice. 3.5 stars for the food, 4.5 for service and ambiance.
