The seem to only offer virtual appointments, but that has worked out great for me, as I haven't had to take much time off of work (because I don't have to drive to and from the doctors office). The doctor has been relatable and answers all my questions.
From horrible to excellent. The front office staff has done a 180 - they answer the phone, make and keep the right appointments. Here's credit where credit is due!

The Community Psychiatry Office coordinator, OZZY, was able to check my insurance after I received my EOB. I noticed I didn't provide the most updated information for 2021 benefit year and He was able to resubmit my outstanding claims for 500 + and my insurance was able to cover all expenses. Other than Dr Michael Rogachevsky, the customer service is great and is so apropos for a looney toon like myself!! THANK YOU
Dr Michael Rogachevsky is by far the best psychiatrist I have ever had. He has 40 years of experience and has prescribed the best combination of medication I have ever had for bipolar I and acute anxiety. He keep very thorough notes of all my appointments and health history. For the first time I finally feel like I am living a peaceful life thanks to him!
Dr. Lichtman is a wonderful doctor. He listens attentively when you speak, he takes the time to explain the medication he prescribes and how to take it. And he works with you to achieve the goals you want for yourself rather than just impose a plan on you. He cares. He is probably the best mental health professional I have seen. The front office staff is friendly and professional.
It's really hard for me to give an excellent, nor horrific review for this place. I've benefitted from Dr. Rogachevsky's expertise significantly. I've finally found the right medication/doctor, which, when it comes to psychiatry, is the primary concern. ((However)) It is nearly impossible to get through to the receptionist. You can't. I've showed up for an appointment that they had no record of, even after the receptionist gave me an appointment card with the date and time written clearly. It took a long time but Dr Rogachevsky effectively treated my depression then bipolar conditions
I've been a client of Gelbart for many years. I've never had any difficulty in getting appointments. I have had at least 20 visits and I have not had any of the negative experiences expressed in the other reviews. Then again I don't suffer from the kind of ailment where minutes make a difference. I rather like the way the office is setup with the lightswitch system which is quiet and discrete. I have been going here for 3 years and it has changed my life. They are professional, courteous and do in fact respond quickly. The person who left a bad review doesn't realize that it is by referral only.
