I have been a patient at community psychiatry for about two years. I have been seeing Dr. Fisher for several years prior to him joining this group. I would just like to leave a well deserved positive rating for the staff, as well as Dr. Fisher. The front office has always been pleasant to me. They answer all my questions, as well as relay anything to Dr. Fisher. They also always schedule me an appointment even if it's a last minute request. This office is very professional and thorough in their patient care. Dr. Fisher was able to make a diagnosis that others didn't over 25 years of care. This has made a tremendous difference in my life. The front office staff was also proactive and friendly. I'm very grateful to have found this level of care.

This review is for Dr. Shannon LeMaster. When I first started seeing her, she was at Berkeley Therapy Institute. When she moved to Community Psychiatry, I followed her there even though it takes my non-driving self an hour or more to get to the Walnut Creek office. That's how good she is. My usual pattern with health care providers is to avoid them until I'm desperate, and then take the first treatment option that makes me somewhat-less-desperate so I can go back to avoiding them. My Dr. is Simrita Singh. She is a very nice woman and has made me feel comfortable. My medications are the best they can get. I see the other reviews and have had experienced the same thing at other places. Remember we are all different. I keep them when they are good and hold on to them tight. It's hard to find a good DR. sometimes
