I will admit I have had both good and bad experiences with Mindpath. My psychiatrist was initially attentive and helpful, then eventually made me feel like I was a burden. I have hope that my new physician will meet the needs I face. The one saving grace with Mindpath has been their front desk support. They are always pleasant and try to help. I had no idea where to look when it came to therapy let alone psychiatric help. Mindpath came up on my google search and the name alone intrigued me. I’m extremely anxious and nervous when it comes to making these types of phone calls/appointments but once I finally did it, I was so happy I did. I’ve had Danine Baldor as my psychiatrist for the past couple of years and she has been really great. I couldn’t imagine going to another psychiatrist now. When I’ve moved or switched insurances I’ve always been nervous that I’m going to lose her. She’s so good at her job and really cares about what she’s doing. My provider is great; she's always looking for more ways to help me. However, since you are required to have a card on file so they can charge it whenever they want, the office currently owes me over $500 as they won't stop incorrectly double-billing for my appointments. This keeps happening despite the multiple notes in my file from the main billing department stating that I should not be charged for any deductible or co-pay due to my HRA and the letter from my insurance company that I sent them (and they ignored). The level of patient care is absolutely abominable. They are owned by private equity and it comes through loud and clear in their interactions and lack of patient care. Shame on you Mindpath for treating my mental health with such little regard. I have been without medication for going on 4 weeks and they have now cancelled me as a patient because I brought to their attention that their staff incorrectly quoted me the self pay rate for my appointment.
